Pilgrimage to Karbala

PBS's acclaimed series "Wide Angle" takes a journey with a busload of Shia men and women who are traveling from Iran to Iraq on a holy pilgrimage to Karbala. Forbidden during the reign of Saddam Hussein, the journey was a mere dream for decades. And although Hussein has now fallen, the pilgrimage to Karbala remains a dangerous one, as sectarian violence rings out through the streets of war-ravaged Iraq.
