After married insurance salesman Hutch Rimes's (Steven Weber) affair with his secretary, Holly, ends with Holly being murdered by her husband, Cotton, you'd think Hutch would have learned his lesson. But 10 years later, he's at it again with his assistant, Olivia. When he gets mail from a stalker, Hutch can't tell whether the letters are from a freed Cotton or from Olivia's cuckolded spouse.
