Kiss of the Dragon
Martial arts master Jet Li shows off his karate (and acting) chops in this dark, brooding film helmed by Chris Nahon and written by French director Luc Besson. Li plays Liu Jian, a narcotics cop sent to Paris to help crack a French-Chinese smuggling ring. When the mission goes horribly wrong, Liu becomes embroiled in a vast conspiracy and must race to prove his innocence and ensure his survival. Bridget Fonda co-stars.
